I’m so honored and so grateful!! You all requested me to teach an evening, and here it is!! What will now be called (at least to me, haha!) POWER TUESDAYS!!! I’m still keeping my regular 10 am and Tuesday, and don’t forget noon on Thursday, but it’s now 6 pm on Tuesday night for that evening Power class you wall wanted!! Can’t wait to see you on the mat!!

Was it the full moon in Taurus? Or Pluto entering Aquarius? Is it post-election let-down? Are these life-altering shifts affecting you, too?
What I find every single time I am on my mat, is that yoga creates a safe space to feel, breathe through it, not mask… grief, rage, despair, heartbreak. Often our culture prioritizes positivity, mindset, and
“good vibes only,” ignoring, suppressing, denying or bypassing grief. Yoga doesn’t bypass emotions but helps us feel them more fully. Through feeling we can take action from our values.
What might it look like to sink into or turn towards grief or anger? Authentic yoga supports feeling and allowing space. I am so grateful my mat holds this for me. I find solace and peace on my mat. I find my grounding, which is why I encourage you in every practice to feel the earth under your feet, feel your roots grow, embrace the earth energy every time your palms are on the mat.
“Power” yoga may be intimidating for some, a practice full of pushups, dolphins, planks, and floats. But may I offer this idea, that the “power” is knowing what is within us, our courage, strength, virtue, resilience, persistence, through challenge, and being able to face our toughest deepest feelings head on and breathe into them without fear.
Today, I got on my mat and did just that, symbolically sinking my hips to the earth, opening my heart, lowering it to the earth in offering, and allowing myself to feel through flow. And so, this is our flow and theme for this week in studio, come join me. 💪🏼✨🙏🏼☺️🧘🏼♀️

I think this audio is perfect. I asked for strength, I was given challenges to find my strength. I asked for a positive mind and I was thrown into darkness to find my own ligh. Often, what we think is the hard part, is the blessing. I’m so grateful for all of it. 💪🏼✨🙏🏼☺️🧘🏼♀️
